The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) was launched in September 2021 with a vision to create a seamless, unified digital healthcare ecosystem to connect patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies and government bodies together. Under ABDM, the Government of India proposed the ABHA address – Ayushman Bharat Health Account, which is a unique health ID for easy sharing and access to health records digitally.
